Bruce Fink Partners with Oasis to Give Australia’s Street Kids a New Lease on Life
Bruce Fink is passionate about helping young people and so is Oasis, a Salvation Army program that he supports. The pain of neglect, abuse, and addictions is vividly portrayed in this video as veteran Oasis staff deal with the broken youth they shelter every day. 22,000 kids find themselves on the street every night, dealing with everything from fights, robberies, mental health issues, drugs and alcohol abuse.
Captain Paul Moulds has spent 25 years working with Australia’s street kids and has served as the director of the Oasis Youth Refuge for the past 12 years. For him, the thought of discarding these kids, as much trouble as they may cause, and as tough as they are to deal with is unconscionable. The video gives you a riveting glimpse into a typical day at the Oasis Youth Refuge.
